Bible
The Holy Spirit inspired human authors to write the books of the Bible. Every word of scripture is chosen by God himself. The Bible is God’s final authority in every issue it communicates. It is the complete truth, and we can trust it for all matters in this life and eternity.
Biblia
El Espíritu Santo inspiró a los autores humanos a escribir los libros de la Biblia. Cada palabra de las Escrituras fue elegida por Dios. La Biblia es la autoridad final de Dios en cada asunto que comunica. Es la verdad completa, y podemos confiar en ella para todos los asuntos de esta vida y la eternidad.
God
The Bible is the only trustworthy source for understanding Him. Scripture teaches that God created everything we can see – and even everything we can’t see – out of nothing. Although it might be difficult for the human mind to comprehend, the Bible teaches that He is one yet has existed since the beginning of time as three distinct and equal persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. He is the one True God worthy of all praise and submission.
Dios
La Biblia es la única fuente confiable para entenderlo a Él. Las Escrituras enseñan que Dios creó todo lo que podemos ver – y aún todo lo que no podemos ver – de la nada. Aunque pueda ser difícil para la mente humana comprenderlo, la Biblia enseña que Él es uno y ha existido desde el principio del tiempo como tres personas distintas e iguales: el Padre, el Hijo y el Espíritu Santo. Jesus
Jesus Christ is God’s Son and an equal of the Father. He has existed from the beginning of time, yet lived on earth during the first century A.D. Throughout His earthly life, he was completely God and completely human at the same time. After living a perfect, sinless life, Jesus offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for every human being who has lived by dying on the cross. After three days in the grave, he defeated sin and death by rising from the grave. He ascended to heaven and will return to earth one day to reign as King and to take his people to heaven for all eternity.
Jesús
Jesucristo es el Hijo de Dios e igual al Padre. Ha existido desde el principio de los tiempos, pero vivió en la tierra durante el primer siglo d.C. A lo largo de Su vida terrenal, fue completamente Dios y completamente humano al mismo tiempo. Después de vivir una vida perfecta y sin pecado, Jesús se ofreció como el sacrificio perfecto por cada ser humano que ha existido, muriendo en la cruz. Después de tres días en la tumba, venció el pecado y la muerte al resucitar. Ascendió al cielo y un día regresará a la tierra para reinar como Rey y llevar a Su pueblo al cielo por toda la eternidad.
Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is a full and equal part of the Trinity. He works in the world to make all people understand their need for Jesus Christ and the salvation He alone offers. The Holy Spirit lives inside every follower of Jesus from the moment they decide to follow Him. The Holy Spirit is our power source for life, ministry, and spiritual growth. This power is continually available to each one who will continually yield to the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit helps us to pray, understand scripture, serve God, and grow to be more like Christ.
Espíritu Santo
El Espíritu Santo es una parte plena e igualitaria de la Trinidad. Él obra en el mundo para que todas las personas comprendan su necesidad de Jesucristo y la salvación que solo Él ofrece. El Espíritu Santo vive dentro de cada seguidor de Jesús desde el momento en que deciden seguirlo. El Espíritu Santo es nuestra fuente de poder para la vida, el ministerio y el crecimiento espiritual. Este poder está continuamente disponible para todos aquellos que se rinden constantemente al Espíritu Santo. Él nos ayuda a orar, entender las Escrituras, servir a Dios y crecer para ser más como Cristo.
Salvation
Salvation is a gift from God to man. Our rebellious nature has eternally separated us from our Creator. We can never earn our way back into God’s presence. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God’s offer of forgiveness can man be saved from sin’s penalty. When you make that decision, you step into the eternal and abundant life Jesus promises for all believers. We didn’t do anything to earn our salvation, and we can’t do anything to lose it. Our salvation is maintained by God’s trustworthiness and love not by what we do. We are to learn to live our new life in Christ to the fullest. To ignore this, is to remain immature in Christ.
Salvación
La salvación es un regalo de Dios para la humanidad. Nuestra naturaleza rebelde nos ha separado eternamente de nuestro Creador. Nunca podremos ganarnos el camino de regreso a la presencia de Dios. Solo al confiar en Jesucristo como la ofrenda de perdón de Dios, el hombre puede ser salvo de la pena del pecado. Cuando tomas esa decisión, entras en la vida eterna y abundante que Jesús promete a todos los creyentes. No hicimos nada para ganar nuestra salvación, y no podemos hacer nada para perderla. Nuestra salvación se mantiene por la fidelidad y el amor de Dios, no por lo que hacemos. Debemos aprender a vivir nuestra nueva vida en Cristo al máximo. Ignorar esto es permanecer inmaduros en Cristo.
Baptism
One of the first steps of obedience after our decision to receive Christ is baptism by immersion. This act of obedience represents the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. A person cannot receive salvation through baptism. Salvation and baptism are two independent acts. Both are significant and important in the life of a believer. Baptism serves as a testimony both to the believer and the witnesses that it is symbolic of the belief in Christ Jesus as Savior and Lord.
Bautismo
Uno de los primeros pasos de obediencia después de nuestra decisión de recibir a Cristo es el bautismo por inmersión. Este acto de obediencia representa la muerte, sepultura y resurrección de Jesucristo. Una persona no puede recibir la salvación a través del bautismo. La salvación y el bautismo son dos actos independientes. Ambos son significativos e importantes en la vida de un creyente. El bautismo sirve como testimonio, tanto para el creyente como para los testigos, de que es un símbolo de la fe en Jesucristo como Salvador y Señor.
